A new form of stuffing, and not of the face kind.

Seeming as I have an abundance of time at the moment, i thought that instead of sitting around wasting my time I would actually set myself some projects. I've already begun the gym one and I think that should be a smaller topic of today seeming as I can barely move right now and still have 4 consecutive days of gym left aaaaaaaaaaaah, One day the cross trainer will be my bezzy <3

Anyway, I've always been jealous of those people who have amazing beds covered in cushions and amazing throws, I grew up with the most amazing antique princess bed with four posters that had curtains on (the perks of having a dad with an antique shop) and I think I am still to this a bit bitter about having to let go off it even if it was falling apart..

Well I will strop rambling on anyway, I have decided to use up all of the scraps of fabric I have obtained and refuse to throw away to make a whole heap of stuff to go on my bed that not only can make my room at home look amazing, But also to take to university next year as I will be living in halls and they aren't exactly amazing are they!

I am starting my soft furnishing plan with cushions.. Nice and simple and i can easily use my big scraps!

Okay so maybe i've gone a bit cushion crazy, This lovely selection are from Laura ashley, John lewis and cath kidston, So maybe mine won't be exactly this refined but I can only dream.. I really like the idea of making the rose like ones out of my scraps of leather so i think i will definitely give that a go! But i just want loads all different sizes and textures.

I think i may also treat myself to the two Cath Kidston ones when i first get paid as a treat for making all of the other ones, I do love her so <3

  1. I love seeing a little comment pop up on here so I thought I might leave you one. I am very fond of the cushion idea and think you should make me one. I like the ones with the 3D flower things on them too. And the wooly one. AND the chicken of course. I have an owl one now did I tell you? He is a cutie. The 3D flower things look a bit like the bed sheets I want. M&S don't you know. Keep blogging!!!
